Well this Centenary Year is nearly over, I do hope you all have enjoyed it as much as I have. Our own anniversary (30 years) does not finish until February so all in all the Fellowship have had a year of fun, interest, friendship, old and new, and I dare say a few more grey hairs brought on by frustrations at Drumhill, St. George, Sunrise etc. A big thank you is due to all of you who have organised so many events from the Scout Fellowship.

At our September BBQ we were joined by Peter and Maureen Foot who send their best wishes for 2008. We continue to be busy at Scout Shops, and in the District at Halloween Events at Gotham, Beaver Sleepover and believe me some of us at Brownie Meetings: Not me.

14 of us attended our sunrise, and again 14 had a great night at the Celebration Concert at the Royal Concert Hall, singing and waving flags of course. This was followed at our meeting with a trip to China with Janet and Charlie so what a busy October was had by all of us.

My wish to all my friends in our District is:
God grant you courage and hope. God grant you faith to guide you along your way, God grant you understanding and wisdom too and grace to accept what life gives you to do. Each and every day in 2008 and beyond.

Happy Christmas

Yours exhausted Brenda
